Activation method: Oxiran.

Packing: Suspension in PBS 50mM pH 7.4; NaN₃ 0.02% (w/v).
Stability of the gel: pH 2-11.
Life time of the gel with routine use: more than 10 cycles without significant loss of binding capacity.
Shelf life of the gel: several years if stored at 4°C.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE (Albumin purification)

Gel volume: 100 ml Blue-Agarose.
Sample: 100 ml human serum.
Flow rate: 50 ml/cm²/hour for all operations.
Binding and washing buffer: PBS 50mM pH 8.0 (buffer A) or TBS 50mM pH 8.0 (buffer B).
Elution buffer: Buffer A or buffer B containing 1.5M NaCl.
Regeneration: With 5 vol. of distilled water then with 5 vol. of NaCl 2M and finally with 5 vol. of distilled water and 3 vol. of binding buffer.
Storage: 4°C in the presence of NaN₃ 0.1% (w/v).
